CentOS 7 Installation

I am trying to load CentOS 7 to prepare for the RHSA/RHCE exams. I want to install as a separate boot partition or as a virtual machine using Virtual box. I downloaded the largest ISO's for 2 different version. However, there is no setup/install in the ISO's and and virtual-box says no boot devise found when I hit the "Start VM". I am doing this on a Windows 10 desktop.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Shannon Webb

Hi Shannon,

Imagine it is RHSA/RHCE exam day, and "how to install CentOS in VirtualBox?" is the first question on the exam. What do you do? What will you try? Where should you look for answers? Do you enjoy researching and solving this type of problem?

Here is a hint to get you started in the right direction: https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Virtu...ox/CentOSguest

In addition,
Under storage setup did you add a CDROM drive? Click on the cdrom drive in the storage tree then click on the disk icon in the attributes box, then select the ISO you downloaded. Select OK.

Now start your VM. It will start like a physical computer. The installer will automatically boot into the installer for everything except the live versions.
