Bind configuration


I have installed mandriva 2009 i want to configure dns server . i have already installed bind . Please me for configure bind.

What have you done beyond installing bind?

Also, "configure Bind" is an incomplete question. "configure Bind for XXX" would be a complete one, Bind can be setup for many different tasks.

if you want something simpler, you can use dnsmasq.
http://www.mythicalbeast.co.uk/linux/dnsmasq_howto.html
it's about as easy to configure as /etc/hosts
