Read the documentation on the internet that you can find. This http://www.linux.org/docs/ldp/howto/DNS-HOWTO.html is a good starting point.

You don't say what you're having a problem understanding, what errors you're getting, or what you've done, other than "having some problem to understand it". Tell us what you've tried and what you're trying to do, along with the error(s) you're getting, and we can help.

The reason that bind can be a bit difficult is because it is very flexible. It should, therefore, be clear that asking "how do we configure it" without saying something about the configuration that you are attempting to use is only likely to prompt the answer "well, I get it right, but you may well do something different".

I suspect that you don't have to study it from the internet - it may be your best option, but I doubt that its your only option. DNS and Bind is a good book, and even if you don't want to buy it, the better libraries may help. And, another thing....one of the things with DNS is that it does tend to show up that your general networking understanding is weak, if that is the case, so maybe your problem is that you don't understand networking well enough.
