Just want a plain ole Router w/SUSE

I guess what I'm trying to get out of it is thatwe have a Sonicwall there as the firewall and VPN. Our distributor set this all up (as it's a requirement of theirs). Problem is that the SW only has 10 user licences to it. So only 10 users can access the internet. The SW has to be there as well since our distributor is also set up so they can access our network any time they need to.

What I'm attempting to do is use a router in it's basic form. No firewall, no filters. Essentially have the router there to assign the IP addresses (DHCP) to the computers on the network, and have it look to the SW for internet. (which in turn the computers look to the router for internet)
Then the SW would only see one internet connection and not have any issues. And then it would be my hope that if the distributors were to come into our network to fix an issue they wouldn't see any issues or have any problems.

Does it make sense what I'm trying to do? Trying to use the router to take care of the computers, but have it hook up to the SW for firewall, filtering and VPN? And the SW would only see one connection....the router. The distributor would VPN through the SW and see no difference.

I'm sure I've seen this practice before, or am I just wrong? Or perhaps I'm using the wrong device for this idea.
If anyone knows how to go about doing this please fill me in. It's a major thing we need done.

Please let me know,
Thanks,
Josh

I'm having a little trouble wrapping my head around what you want.

You have a business requirement from one of your distributors that you use a specific piece of software. You want to keep the software but violate the licensing agreement by working around the ten license limit?

Sure there are technical issues here. But, that's essentially what you are asking for help on. You want the license violation to be transparent to the application and your distributor.

If I misunderstood, I apologize.
