Where is the startmenu located

Hi again!

Due to some crash, all my startmenu settings are in a mess. Nothing is were it was before I was forced to reset my computer, and most links seems to be broken. I would like to know where these settings are located. In Windows, there´s C:\Windows\Startmenu\, which you can use to arrange everything - what´s the location of this in Linux/KDE?

i can only think of kmenuedit, it's a utility that comes with KDE that might help you.

frieza is correct, kmenuedit is the best way to edit your menus, though you can also look in $KDEDIR/share/applnk (or applnk-mdk ir you're using mandrake).
