Unhappy What is the command to start GDM?

I Tried installing Openbox on Mageia Linux, and it won't start properly, I Just get the wallpaper, nothing else (It doesn't start with GDM). Anyway I could login as safe mode from GRUB. I just get the simple bash command line Ui. Anyway what is the command to open GDM in Bash.

You could try at the command line:
Quote:
startx
or if you have gdm3
Quote:
/etc/init.d/gdm3 start
Course this is how I do it it in Debian

Talking

It Didn't work (thanks anyway), But I Managed to find another way how to fix it. This is how I fixed it. In the Mageia Grub Menu there are 4 choices

Boot Mageia 1
Boot Mageia 1 (Safe Mode)
Linux with Kernel 2.6.38.7-desktop586-1.mga
Linux with Kernel 2.6.38.8-desktop586-4.mga

I selected the third one, and it started Openbox (with the right-click menu working this time). I right clicked, Logged out, went into GDM and logged in as gnome. ow everything is working.
