unable to compess and uncompress the files in gnome fedora 14

hi.

I am unable to compress and extract tar,tar.gz and zip files in graphical environment of fedora14. it works fine on terminal can you tell what is the issues.

i am assuming you are using Gnome
or
are you using KDE4 ,lxde, xfce, e17, or some other desktop
Gnome is default so file-roller should be the default auto option for double clicking on it
or r-click and select "open with fileroller"
2)
also fedora 14 is a DEAD version
there currently is NO support
There will NEVER be any updates ,nor any security fixes - it is Past it's END OF LIFE

please stay current if you are going to use fedora and install fedora 16 then in about 3 months fedora 17

I Installed file-roller package and it worked for me thanks for reply on this post. I will try to update to F16 as soon as possible ..thanks again

fileroller is a default package and IS auto installed with Gnome
