Transmission Remote GUI daemon reboot required

Whenever my debian server running transmission is started up, my connection is refused when trying to connect to transmission via the remote gui.

Once I restart the transmission daemon service the remote gui is able to connect.

Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening and how to fix it?

I am unable to find any logs for transmission either...

While I don't know this piece of software, googling "transmission daemon log" reveals that there is a bittorrent client with that name, and that it has a web site including a forum https://forum.transmissionbt.com. I suggest you start there.
