Remote launch GUI from Daemon with nobody logged in?
I have a couple systems (RH9) that run display apps on the console that are fed data from Ethernet. I launch them from a daemon running on the local systems by sending startup commands via Ethernet, but this only works if someone is logged into the console and has done a "xhost +". The systems boot up in level-5 and normally sit at the login prompt in graphics mode.
Can I configure the system so no one has to be logged in to get control of the console and run the graphics?
Master sends "start/stop" to slaves using IP-port. Each slave runs a daemon to start/stop graphics.
Thanks for your time!
