Question the gdm config cause me trouble

When i start redhat, some services are broken (sshd, spamd, crond all failed). But the problem is that i can`t login because "the gdm user does not exis". It tells me to correct the gdm configuration in /etc/x11/gdm/gdm.conf. But how can i correct the gdm if i cannot login anymore? i treied to login as root, but i`m prompted "login incorrect", i treied to login as a normal user and the same "login incorrect".
What sould i do?

Hi!
You should be able to login in console mode: ctrl+alt+F1 (is common to have around 6 virtual terminals F1 - F6)
