Tablets and laptops that work well with Linux, say Mint

I am not very technically oriented, but would like to replace my Acer Aspire V5-516P-3875 and Chuwi Surbook Mini. I was able to load Mint on the Chuwi, but it doesn't run very well. For example, the touch screen doesn't work. Mint works better on the Acer, but it's getting old and has a few problem. Can you point me in the direction of finding makes/models of laptops/tablets that Linux works well on. I like being able to use the touch screen and touch pad. Thanks very much for any help. Thanks, George
