SQUID and NTLM and HTTPS

We are using the Linux proxy server SQUID for our internet. The problem is when one of my users try to access a site with HTTPS and I have to authenicate, I always get the "Password Needed - Network" window. It looks like the scheme is NTLM, and it wants the user name, passoword, and domain. I enter my current information and it never works? Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure its only with HTTPS access when a user needs to log onto a internet site, but it may be regular HTTP aswell.

Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide me.
