rh9 hangs on hardware detection

Try installing rh9 on my new laptop (Intel-MB). First I had some problems with the ohci1394 driver - thanks for this forum - I could solve them.
But now rh9 hangs again on boottime - at hardware detection process.
I'm a newbie to linux, please help
Hermann

temporarily what u can do is just enter in the interactive mode and say no at h/w detection.
after that if u r not having any newly added h/w then just disable kudzu using ntsysv.(TEMPORARILY)
Then try to find the error in h/w detection by checking /var/log/messages.
Its better if u send the portion of /var/log/messages related with kudzu
