problems with Azareus

Hello, new to the group and new(ish) to Linux Suse 10.3), so please bear with me...!

I'm trying to install Azureus BitTorrent. Actually, I've installed it
3 times now.

It keeps crashing, and the log shows this:

(gecko:24523): Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_widget_size_allocate(): attempt to
allocate widget with width 250 and height -1
/usr/share/java-utils/java-functions: line 117: 24523 Killed

Gnome debug tool isn't working at the moment either....

I don't think the gtk warning is significant. Lots of apps get those. It's more likely to be the java line. You need to check that your java install is ok.

There is another way though - I used to use azureus but have switched to qbittorrent now. It is much lighter on resources and has a handy search function. You will need qt version 4 thought. I recommend trying it if you haven't already.
