problem w/ Grub booting a Win XP Partition

ok,
I have read many peoples problems and fixes and searched multiple pages for the solution. The only one i could come up with is take my SKS and shoot the hell out of my pc.

i added an additional drive to my pc, already containing 2 with one partitioned into 2 drives, on my pc to experiment with 64 bit OS's and i thought i should make the switch again. Since 64bit games are being released on Linux

I have Fedora Core2 installed and running, but i can't boot back into my windows partition. I have tried a lot of stuff. i will just list my drives and stuff.

Device Boot Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hdc1 * 1 4972 39937558+ 7 HPFS/NTFS
/dev/hdc2 4973 7475 20105347+ f W95 Ext'd (LBA)
/dev/hdc5 4973 7475 20105316 7 HPFS/NTFS

that is where my windows xp partition is

title Microsoft Blows
rootnoverify (hd1, 0)
chainloader +1

can someone help please

If your XP is on hdc1 (not entirely clear from your post) it should read:

rootnoverify (hd2,0)

well if u had winxp on a single drive before it should be there, otherwise you wouldnt be able to boot winxp at all.
