I am setting up a server at home and I am having some issues... feel free to check it out. The domain is joepatterson.com
When I go to joepatterson.com/gallery/ , for some reason, the index.php file does not resolve. Why does it show a list of files rather than the index.php files?
Secondly, when I click on index.php and I click on the 'Configuration Wizard' on the page, I get a 500 server error. I have installed this gallery a LOT of times and I have had no issues before... The permissions are correct, or at least, I believe so.
Make sure you have your directory indexing correct:
DirectoryIndex index.html index.php
Since you're getting server errors when clicking on your index.php, this might be what's causing index.php not to resolve as well, as well - though that doesn't seem too likely.
Look in your error.log to see what error message you're getting from Apache, and that will help us figure out what's going wrong with the server, in your index.php script.
This about the 5th time I have installed gallery... so I am familiar with it. However, this is the first time I have setup my OWN server. I have done their setup process already and made all the permissions correct on my end (at least as far as their instructions go)... I am guessing I have a httpd.conf error or something... but I am not sure, or a permission error somewhere else.
