php resolve in console

I was wondering if there is a program that will resolve a php script when you try to download a file. For example if you do "wget http://www.download.com/3002-8022_4-...2.html?tag=dir" you would download "3002-8022_4-10309792.html?tag=dir" and not the actual file. I was wondering if there is a way to download files like this without having to use a web browser. I have php installed but I do not know if that will have anything to do with it. I have searched but I did not seem to find anything on this.

Thank you in advanced.

If you want to use php then take a look at this function:

That is not really what I need. What I am trying to do is somehow get wget to resolve a link that includes php code in it so it will download the actual file. when I use wget to download a file that has php it downloads something that is not what I want like the example in my first post.

Ah, you mean you don't want it to save the file with the query string? Try:
wget -O 3002-8022_4-10309792.html http://www.download.com/3002-8022_4-...2.html?tag=dir
