OpenOffice - strange goings on

I have red hat 9.0 installed on my laptop and I'm having strange problems with openoffice. Each time I try to use any of the open office applications, the view is zoomed in about 1000% ! And I don't just been the area where you write etc. I mean the whole window is zoomed in ( tool bar and everything). So all i can see when I open any of the applications is FILE written in big letters (i.e. the very top left hand corner of the window) and I can just about click File=>Open and that's it!

I have only used office once before and it worked fine then and I haven't changed any settings - all other non-office applications work fine. Anyone got any ideas what's going on?

Try this. Hit Alt-T to open the Tools menu, then Alt-O for Options. Alt-A will then select the scaling factor. Type 100 and press enter.
