NVIDIA driver into mandriva 2009

hi all
i have a small prob, and i hope if somebody can help me
i'm trying to install NVIDIA driver into mandriva 2009, i already havve the driver but i can't reach it when login ass root
so please if any body can help me

If the driver version you are trying to install is either of these two versions 195.36.03 and 195.36.08, then don't bother. Nvidia is recalling those versions. See here: NVIDIA Removes Linux, Solaris Drivers Due to Overheating Bug for more info.

Other than that, where did you save the driver download to?

mandriva login as root.
when grub starts press the esc key then (ok) then the first line you see. press the letter (e) now at the end of it type telinit 3
then login. I have not up graded since the nouvea stuff on mandriva. so I gues it is time to brake my system For LINUS

as like {BBI}Nexus{BBI} said those drivers where recalled so you will have to get the NVIDIA-Linux-x86-195.30-pkg1.run do a sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-195.30-pkg1.run -x then patch it with the.
