I found no usable hits anywhere for 'geforce G103M'.
may be a vendor type.

Hence the required 'lspci -v | grep VGA'

Hi,

I think you have to try to compile the new kernel.

3D, Compiz and everything is working well
but now the problem is now my monitor shows me six small sized desktops, all are displaying the same windows.

Hi,

Try to recreate xorg.conf file.
Xorg -configure

Next, try to add these lines to new xorg.conf file for compiz support

#Module Section

Section "Module"
Load "bitmap"

Load "ddc"

Load "dbe"

Load "dri"

Load "extmod"

Load "freetype"

Load "glx"

Load "int10"

Load "type1"

Load "vbe"

EndSection

#Device Section

Option "XAANoOffscreenPixmaps" "true"

#end in xorg.conf file

Section "Extensions"
Option "Composite" "true"
EndSection

And Make sure you have these lines

Section "DRI"
Mode 0666
EndSection
