How to work teamviewer properly on linux in proxy server settings?

We need more information before we can help you.

What distribution/desktop are you using, what steps have you taken so far and what were the results, are you using the linux version of Teamviewer, do you get any error messages and what are they? What proxy are you using and what are it's settings (munge identifying data)? That will do to start.
