Question No Bootloader!

Today I installed RedHat 9 only to find that no bootloader was installed. I selected LILO to install on the first boot partition (as I am multitasking with XP) but when i click Exit to reboot my PC. It brings up a screen with loads of stripes I reset it and it goes straight to XP! When i update my RedHat installation it says That No Bootloader was installed!

Can I install one manually?

Why the screen with stripes?

Is it because I have a Integrated graphics card and a PCI graphics card and it detects my Integrated Card which is disabled at BIOS?

Please Help!

Josh

Hi Josh

You can do - it will just overwrite the NTLDR if its there - if your Linux bootloader doesn't initially configure for Windows then its usually easy enough to make the neccesary changes to enable the bootloader to be able to boot both.
