my file menu (file, edit, view etc) is in the notification area, how do i get it back where it should be [linux lite]

eg: my firefox menu bar is in the taskbar, systray, panel whatever its called instead of in the window on top where it belongs,

I can get it back by removing the indicator plugin but then I have no network or sound indicator etc.

Please help me get the menu bar back into the window it belongs to and not in the "system Tray" area.

I would really appreciate any help - Im using Linux Lite series 3

about the menu bar in the notification

Thanks but I think I found another way - I got rid of linux lite and installed linux mint - it looks the same and seems to work the same - without the menu bar problem.
