menu bar moved from bottom to top


the menu bar on my screen used to be at the bottom, now it is at the top. how do it get back on the bottom?

1) You should always state your distribution and Desktop Environment (KDE, Gnome, etc). We need to know what you're using in order to help you effectively.

2) Try dragging and dropping it. That works for some desktops. Chances are that's how it got moved in the first place.

3) Look in your panel configuration options, probably accessable through right-clicking on it. There's usually some kind of positioning setting you can use there.
