mail command


I was trying to send mail to myself as well as to other user on the same machine .
When I invoked mail command with "-v "option it is displaying complete status of mail saying that message is accepted for delivery ,but when i open my mail box it says no mails for me


why????????
long back I changed file "/etc/mail/aliases" to some entry ,However I restored to previous one...

When you make changes to /etc/mail/aliases you need to run the command newaliases.

Try sending the email to another address, maybe a hotmail or yahoo account.
