Question Logitech Quickcam (USB OK - GQCAM doesn't find it)

Hi,
Thank you very much for reading this !

I have a logitech QUICKCAM which is plugged into my usb hub.
I am running kernel 2.6.5 with Debian.
I have compiled the kernel attached quickcam driver into my kernel.

I try to run GQCAM which starts nicely, but then defaults to my PCI TVcard.
I can choose "Open New Camera" but I have no idea what to write in the dialog that follows.

I can get the following information about the camera:
tcsh> cat /proc/bus/usb/devices:

T: Bus=02 Lev=02 Prnt=02 Port=06 Cnt=02 Dev#= 4 Spd=12 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 1.00 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff MxPS= 8 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=046d ProdID=0850 Rev= 1.00
S: Product=Camera
C:* #Ifs= 3 Cfg#= 1 Atr=80 MxPwr=100mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff Driver=(none)
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=01(Isoc) MxPS= 0 Ivl=1ms
E: Ad=82(I) Atr=03(Int.) MxPS= 1 Ivl=16ms
I: If#= 0 Alt= 1 #EPs= 2 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff Driver=(none)
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=01(Isoc) MxPS=1023 Ivl=1ms
E: Ad=82(I) Atr=03(Int.) MxPS= 1 Ivl=16ms
I: If#= 1 Alt= 0 #EPs= 0 Cls=01(audio) Sub=01 Prot=00 Driver=(none)
I: If#= 2 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=01(audio) Sub=02 Prot=00 Driver=(none)
E: Ad=83(I) Atr=01(Isoc) MxPS= 0 Ivl=1ms
I: If#= 2 Alt= 1 #EPs= 1 Cls=01(audio) Sub=02 Prot=00 Driver=(none)
E: Ad=83(I) Atr=01(Isoc) MxPS= 100 Ivl=1ms

Should I be able to see the driver module when running a lsmod ?? (This is not the case)
tcsh>lsmod
Module Size Used by
snd_mixer_oss 18816 -
8250 17504 -
serial_core 18528 -
parport_pc 34464 -
lp 8772 -

Im not sure what to do next, thanks for helping !

I don't seem to have that file on my system:

tcsh>locate quickcam.sh
Exit 1
