Quickcam Logitech USB + RED HAT 9.0

Dear all,

I have installed an 'old' webcam (Logitech Quickcam USB) on my PC running with RH9.0
Kudzu seems to detect something but ... it also seems it detects a audio card instead of a webcam. This is confirmed later on 'cause I can not listen to my music anymore with XMMS.

Have you already had such a problem? How did you solve this?

I got one of those things around here somewhere, its disconnected now ... what you want to do is do a search on sourceforge.net for Quickcam. There is a project that makes drivers for the sucker. I have successfully used them to have a little web cam, and i think it works with xawtv also.

This is what you want. Their is no support for the microphone though.
