Unhappy Login Screen

I just installed Mandrake 9.1 for the first time. Can someone tell me why and how to fix when I boot up I don't get a logon screen. This seems like it is going to be a security issue!

Second question:

Is there a way when I press ctrl+alt+del I can have a choice to log off, shut down, or restart. Please remember I am a Windows user!

You mean it logs you in automatically?

Correct. Does that sound crazy? I hope I didn't blow nothing up.

I've heard that Mandrake has an 'auto-login' option. I don't know how to configure it though. I'm sure a Mandy guru will be quick to tell us how though.

I FOUND IT OUT. If anyone else is having this neeeewbie problem theis is how you fix it.

Go to Mandrake Control Center/Hardware/Display Manager
Change the settings to MdkKDM.

I guess you can call me a true
