Linux Install on IBM Aptiva 2162-S35

Hey I have a old IBM Aptiva 2162-S35 which is a P1 @ 233 Mhz with 48 MB Ram. I have downloaded Red Hat 9 and the cds work on my newer computers. But they do not work on the IBM Aptiva. I need someway of gettin the floppy drive to tell the cd-rom to load the red hat disk. If anybody could help that would be awesome.

Cool

Hi,

on this page: http://www.samspublishing.com/articl...98118&seqNum=2

you can scroll to the subject: "Making an Installation Boot Diskette"

That should get you on your way :-)
