Linux doesn't boot, only XP!
GAH! Why is it that RedHat 9 WONT BOOT! I have a boot disk and and I have it installed. All that happens is that Windows XP loads, even with the Boot disk in the drive!
rant This is starting to get monatanious. I want to learn Linux, but I seem to be having problem after problem just getting it do basic functions, like actually booting on its own! /rant

did you create the boot disk with the image from redhat.com or during the red hat installation?
did you have a boot loader installed? if yes and you're using different hdds for each OS, try changing the boot hdd in your bios

If you made it so Redhat will boot from a floppy disk, you'll need to specify in your BIOS to have your floppy the first boot device..
Don't go blaming Linux yet.. as its most likely not a Linux problem yet....

In your BIOS, make sure that the floppy drive is the first boot device.
