Is this Vnc Server Guide Reliable?

Must i do all it says me too do?or maybe something more things?I want to connect to it with realvnc

If you intend to use vnc over the internet then using ssh tunneling is a very good idea. If using vnc is just for your internal network, then you can drop the ssh tunneling section.
