IP fowarding, a problem with my routes?


Hi, I looked around for a few days before making a post but I can't figure out what the problem is. Im using dnsmasq to do my routing. I think theirs a problem with my default route?

route -n shows

Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface
162.39.99.1 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 UH 0 0 0 ppp0
192.168.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 eth0
0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 ppp0

Should the bottom line have a default gateway that isn't 0.0.0.0?

The last line should refer the default gateway, but it doesn't define a gateway at all (no G). Try adding manually (after removing the current last line)
route add default gw gateway_ip
