Installing XFi drivers

I'm trying to install the SoundBlaster Xfi drivers that came out last week. At first I was getting a "no supported products error", but I found a workaround for that. Now the installer gives me a ton of errors when it's trying to compile.

Now I see that it doesn't work with GCC 4 or higher, which is what I have. I'm using openSUSE 10.3, how should I go about getting an older version of GCC? Can I just go into yast and install it from there? Do I need to remove GCC 4 first?

Thanks.
