...and since you don't tell us ANYTHING that would give us any ideas on what you're doing, what do you think we'll be able to tell you?? You don't tell us version/distro of Linux, what you're doing to GET the messages you posted, what you're trying to accomplish, etc., there's nothing we can help you with. Provide details and ask a clear question, and we can try to help.

Read the LQ Rules; first, don't post the same question multiple times, and second, stop using text-speak, and spell out your words. It's "you" not "u".

And NO ONE HERE is going to log into your machine and fix your problems for you. If you want someone to do that, post this into the LQ Job Marketplace, along with how much you're going to PAY SOMEONE to do your work for you, and someone will be happy to do it. You were told what file to edit, what to change, and how to edit it; can't get much clearer. Running the gedit command WILL open a new window...and that window will have the file you need to change IN IT.

Guys, working with this dude here

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ar-4175522958/

with a 20 post count and going. The Language barrier and listening and not listening.

Well, you get the idea. @ the OP.

It is starting to look like your Ubuntu sources list is incorrect. At least compared to mine.

@zeeshanayub, you have 8 threads related to your software installation issues, check post 7 here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...kg-4175523052/

I think you should stop and go with just one and answer questions in one thread until you solve your issues
