Install on a Lenovo Yoga 310 emmc drive

I have tried to install linux onto the 64g emmc drive on a lenovo 310,

The live USB will boot but when I try to install it points to two partitions it cannot change. I do not want to dual boot. I want to replace W10 with linux.

Is this even doable?

What are the two partitions? if this an uefi system then there will be at least two partitions. One that the linux root file system is installed on, and the other a fat32 file system flagged as esp, that is required for an efi system that the bootloader is install on. From the live usb open a terminal and post the output of
Code:
sudo parted -l
that is lower case L

You see the one that's fat32? Install to the other one.

I have the Yoga up and running and windows is no more. My desktop has been dual boot for twelve months.

Thank you to Awesomemachine and to colorpurple21859.

I think I was being too cautious and reading posts from various forums that made me nervous. I didn't want to brick my little toy.

The install did show an error regarding the EFI Fat 32 during the partitioning I think.

The installer recommended rebooting immediately so I did and I restarted the installation from the USB stick. It had retained the choices made previously and completed with no further issues.

I am happy and can now continue this journey out of Microsoft.
