how do i install a .bin


I just loaded red hat 7.3 and staroffice isnt on it. so i would i install it but its a .bin file how would i go about installing it?

just run it from the command line within X in a terminal window after changing the permissions on it to rwxrwxrwx which would equal chmod 777 name-of-file.bin...
