how can I install .bin files?

I have just downloaded the jdk(...).bin for Java and I am trying to install it on my suse 9.0. The problem is that I don't know how to install this kind of files. I have downloaded the bluej environment also but ofcourse it needs java to run. Does anyone know how to install both? Give detailed answers please due to my ignorance...
