I saw that one but it seems I have to launch it from the command line. I am looking for something that will appear in System under my Applications menu.
Launching it from the command line shouldn't be a problem. Once it's launched it appears as a GUI, with full information about your system. Just type in the terminal: hardinfo, then hit Enter. Easy.
