Hardware Information

I'm sure the answer to this is very simple and obvious.

How do I find out exactly what model graphics chip is in my PC? I know it is SiS, but have no idea what model it is.

How do I find this out?! I need it to get my XServer running. (So need to find it out from the command line).

Thanks

Type lspci at the command line. This will list you pci hardware.

Add -v or -vv to lspci for more verbosity. Also cat /proc/pci.
