FTP server?


im new to linux, pretty new, basically ihave been playing with RH8 for about a week now. I want to setup an ftp server, i noticed that rh8 has some ftp software installed. how do i set up a secure server so that i can share things with my firends but not have to worry about you l33t haxors out there, is there ne texts that i can read?

The documentation on it is great, and it's very easy to setup and configure.

Something to at least give you a heads up, for the most part, you will be running an ftp server from command line, not a gui that some are used to in win.

Actually it's probably already on your RH CD's, but here's a link:

Not sure what the fr2 is...
