fingerprint reader not device found


i attach microsoft fingerprint reader but in linux os when i compile my program dev : not device found error occure

this is usb device
if i want to load driver module then what to do
i use dpfc lib

Do you have libfprint and libfprint-devel installed?

Can I ask nicely what "hv dpfc lib" is?

libdpfp is lib for fingerprint reader and its nicely work on my fedora 14
but when my c object file transfer to other linux own os then obove error exist

capture_finger[16360]: segfault at 0 ip b805a031 sp bf87ba20 error 4 in libdpfp.so.0[b8058000+6000]
this error exist when i type dmesg
