email notification in Nagios only for particular service or host (not for all )
Hi,
In my nagios server I have 30 host and 500 services.
I want to get email notification only for one host or one particular services(up,dowm, critical, warning)not for all hosts and services.
Could you please help me about this issue ASAP.
Kind Regards,
This is a very big question, before I go to deep into it I would suggest you look at the check_mk plugin for nagios as it provides a great GUI for configuration of notifications on specific hosts, etc..
Take a look at the check_mk site and teh screenshots and if you think it can work for you I can help with the install if you need it, otherwise we can open the nagios can of worms and go that route. Just a suggestion.
Thank you very much Kustom42..
I am new for nagios, first time i am using this tool so i dont have any idea about check_mk or any thing else. could you please guide me how to do this (download/install/usage/which file i have to change etc etc...)
Kind Regards,
