display all users on system

Hello everybody. I'd first like to thank you in advance for your time.

I'm installing a new LAMP on my Slackware 10 system, and ran accross the user generation with mySQL. When I tried to add the user it told me that the user already exists. This led me to wonder what users are already registered on my system. I googled around a little bit, but only found information about the "who" command, which, if I understand, only shows users that are logged on to my system. Since I'm really the only one who uses this computer, people aren't logging on that often, so I was wondering if there was a way to just list all the users that are registered on my computer...

Appreciate your help,

James Kassemi
