Display users on specific Port


Hello,

is there a way to display wo is connected to a specific port on my eth0 adapter

If you will type '/w' will show you who is connected to your machine.

Do you mean by IP? The command 'netstat' is used for that, it'll show

localaddress:localport remoteaddress:remoteport

type netstat --help for more options such as listening ports etc...

At the moment i am using the following line :

netstat -tcp 10.0.0.1:800

This should give info for port 800 but much more trafic in the output

Any suggestion's ??

if you want to find out which IP is connected to port 800, try this:

netstat -n | grep 800
