Cleartype setting

Hi, I'm using fedora core 3, and I was wondering where I should go to enable/disable the cleartype setting. I cant seem to find it.

I'm still a Linux n00b

are u using kde or gnome....? if in kde, then its done like this...click the kde launch button(the lower left corner of the screen), settings , control centre, fonts...(u might want to turn on anti aliasing too...clear type is for laptops i guess)....fiddle around and see what works best for you..

if ure not sure what ure using, do a 'ctrl-alt-backspace' and select session->KDE

I dont notice much of a difference between gnome and KDE in FC3. But its under preferences and font.

Thanks for the help.
