Bootloader screwed? :(

hi i first like to say i'm a complete newbie when it comes to linux, so bare with me

i recently installed SuSE 8.1 on the same harddrive as where i have windows xp installed. installation worked perfectly, and everything looked like a charm.
but the next time i booted my pc to linux, it was hanging saying i had some hde and hdg errors. so without thinking i went back to windows xp, used partition magic to remove the linux partition, without unloading the linux boot in MBR. now all i can do is get into Grab, and since i'm not experienced, i have no idea how to solve this. i can't get back to windows. how do i install a new MBR so i can get windows working again?

Put in a DOS boot disk and at the prompt type: fdisk /mbr

Once you get back to the a:\ prompt, remove disk and reboot.

Welcome to the forum.
