hi ,i am having problem with apache .My os is debian.I installed apache5.5 ,but on giving http address
:"http://localhost:8080" it is not showing the apache default page and i am not able to work on java servlets .
Never heard of apache 5.5. However the default port is 80 for apache. Unless you edited the ports.conf file and adjusted the default port. Can you give us a base line of what you did for setup.
