If you look in your "software manager" facility (in my case it's the mandrake control centre - but you should have a deadrat equivalent) and look to see just how many different language support packages there are - umpteen different oriental languages (Chinese/Japanese/Taiwanese), with even more asian (Tamil/Gujarati/Urdu/Hindi/Bengali/Punjabi etc etc), not to mention the Cyrilic languages of Russian/Polish/Greek etc, then there's the extra European stuff for accented vowel in German, French, Dutch and the Scandanavian languages etc etc etc
Shed loads of stuff. I would have thought that if a site has language stuff that you haven't installed, then like me, you would probably get something like a notification - well I do from google!
If you speak them, install them, if not then you probably can't read them anyhow!
