Add printer command line

Dear All,

May I know what is the command to add printers in RedHat? Any site for a good reading for a newbie on how printer works in Linux? Because there are these terms and services I don't really understand such as cupsd, lpd, lpr, lp, ipp and etc. Please advice. Thanks.

To just add printer in Rh you can use

system-config-printer
as root
