"wpa_supplicant and dhcpcd" known problems?

I'm using an ipw2200 wireless card on an up to date gentoo systhem!
the configuration is properly right, because it run's sometimes.
to someone know if there are some problems with wpa_supplicant and dhcpcd and know a way to solf this problems?
